AnderSonix was founded 15 years ago in New York City by Timothy J. Anderson, an audio engineer, sound designer, re-recording mixer and composer. As of the fall of 2012, AnderSonix is now based in Los Angeles, and has already successfully completed a number of projects of differing genres, from mixing a jazz album, to editing and mixing two documentaries, to sound designing and mixing an Indie feature.  Mr. Anderson holds a Masters degree from New York University in music composition, and he received his Bachelors degree in studio engineering and music production from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. In addition to projects for AnderSonix, he spent many years as a freelance engineer at studios around the New York area. Also, while in New York, he taught audio post-production to MFA candidate computer animators at NYU and the School of Visual Arts, and to undergraduates in the Music Technology Department at Mercy College.  His expertise has been sought after for assignments across diverse disciplines, including film, TV, the web, theater, live recording, multi-media museum installations, and a wide variety of musical compositions.
